First of all, make sure your smartphone is running the most updated version of Instagram. Go to the Google Play Store and force an update, if necessary. After that, restart the application.
Step 1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile page. Touch the menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 2. Choose the “Settings” option.
Step 3. When entering this screen, swipe down to reveal a hidden option. A shower of confetti will indicate that you have found the easter egg .
Step 4. The “Application icons” options will be listed. In total, there are 12 icons available, with the explanation and references of each one. The alternatives are as follows:

Step 5. After choosing the icon you want to apply, the following message will appear: “Add to Home Screen?”. Tap "Add" to complete the process.
